Today we review a root beer infused whiskey from Uncle Bob’s Root Beer Flavored Whiskey. Upon first taste, we definitely get the sarsaparilla taste from the root beer infusion with a hint of the oak that comes from the whiskey barrels. There is hardly no ethanol burn from the whiskey and finishes very smooth.

Estimated cost at 750mL – $18.99

  • Diane,

    My apologies for a delay in responding. I do not regularly monitor my web site for comments. But that will be changing in the near future with the relaunching of this web site’s video and audio podcasting content. Stay tuned. However, back to your question. A good recipe using this product, Uncle Bob’s Root Beer Whiskey is a Whiskey Flip.

    Here are the ingredients;
    – 2.5 oz Uncle Bob’s Root Beer Whiskey
    – 2 tsp Heavy Cream
    – 1 Whole Egg
    – 0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
    – 1 tsp Powdered Sugar
    – crushed ice

    Directions:
    1. Put the whiskey, powdered sugar, cream and vanilla into a cocktail shaker and give it a stir to dissolve the powdered sugar.

    2. Add egg and dry shake (no ice) to fully emulsify the egg.

    3. Add in the crushed ice and shake well to create a foam.

    4. Double strain into a coupe.

    Now enjoy responsible.
